Meditation English

meditation

It is very difficult for us to separate the justice of God from the pain we feel,

By this I mean that while we experience pain or discomfort, believing that we have been justified by God or experiencing peace is a very difficult task, it is difficult and in some cases impossible, to feel the peace of God or because we have the tendency or inclination to think that our pain or discomfort is intrinsically related to something bad that we have done,

Which makes our situation even worse, since we are adding one more element that contributes to making the situation worse.

We are adding a quota of disbelief, an element that has a destructive effect on any effort to get out of any difficulty.

When we experience a situation of pain or discomfort,

Along with this situation, other elements also occur, such as fear, fear, worry, which intensify or decrease to the extent that the pain or discomfort also decreases or intensifies.

Fear, fear or worry are the product of disbelief, or lack of trust,

In what sense? In the sense that when we are suffering from some pain or discomfort we tend to associate it with guilt and we begin by asking some questions, because, and in the effort to find an answer, we begin with the things that are within our reach: the things that What I can do, if we find an answer and the pain or discomfort is resolved, then the search stops, otherwise, the search for the answer continues, this time in accessible sources, other people, doctors, etc. In the same way, if we find an answer, the search ceases. Otherwise, we continue the search. At this time, fear and affliction have been increasing, since we have already exhausted the resources close to us, so we turn our gaze to God.

And considering that our first option when experiencing pain and discomfort is not God but what we can do for ourselves, at least that is what we see in practice,

When we approach God we do not do so with the full confidence to know that he will satisfy the need we have in the way we think

The fact that we can remain firm in the midst of pain is not that we are strong but that. God intervenes in a supernatural way, in us challenging our understanding by allowing us to experience Peace in our hearts, NO! Because we do not feel the pain but because He (God) has established a super powerful reason, incapable of being overthrown that protects us and allows us to maintain calm and peace of heart, in the midst of pain and discomfort, and that peace rests in the understanding and conviction that God places in us that we are justified, that He has forgiven our sin, that there is no more condemnation for those of us who are in Christ Jesus. This is a promise from God to every believer in the midst of trials and pain, in which He commits to protect our minds and hearts which become the main target of our enemy during those moments of affliction, during times of affliction. Our hearts (emotional system) and misstated mind (thought system) become vulnerable, and suffer the merciless attack of our enemy,

Well, God has not given us a resource to act based on His promise to protect those regions of our being, He says that He will protect our minds and our hearts, thus granting us Peace, not based on the absence of pain but based on the Faith placed. in Christ Jesus, who delivers and protects us from the accusations of our enemy, who intensifies his attacks in times of trials and afflictions
