the bible makes clear that God is just, and works with justice, by justice we understand, that God demands responsibility from man, first informs him, and makes him aware, of good or evil that he should or should not do,
Numbers 14: 17 Now, then, I beg you
May the power of the Lord be magnified, as you spoke, saying:
Jehovah, slow to anger and great in mercy, than 18

giving the appearance of a regeneration, but wene they were exposed to the truth that is Jesus Christ, then a more complex way of idolatry was revealed ,
Matthew 23: 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you are similar
to bleached sepulchres, that outwardly, to the truth,
John 16: 8 But I tell you the truth: It is better for you that I go; 7
because if I did not leave, the Comforter would not come to you;
but if I went, I would send it to you. And when he comes, he will convince 8
